Sustainability
At FeelFree, we are committed to the destinations we operate in, their natural environment, culture, and people. Sustainability has long ceased to be just an idea and become a priority for us. That need led us to establish responsible measures – taking the United Nations goals for sustainable development as a reference – which we implement at FeelFree STAYS, from the architectural project to the day-to-day management.

Actions that protect the environment
Eco-designed spaces for your rest
At FeelFree STAYS, we believe that luxury is in the little things. Insulation is a perfect example of a detail that makes you feel at ease at any time. To achieve this, we have reinforced the walls of the suites and added an acoustic absorbing material. Together with other measures – such as individual screeding or joint sealing – we ensure that you enjoy an optimum temperature at all times, reducing disturbing noises. That way, the time you spend in your suite is of the highest quality.
Social actions
Commitment to people
Did you know that practically all of our suppliers are local? We believe it is essential to create community wherever we are. That’s why, as much as possible, we work with local companies and products. In this way, we support small businesses and ensure that everything we offer is unique and local to the destination.
In addition, FeelFree has been collaborating for years with the Why Not Foundation, an accredited NGO that does excellent and essential work to improve the quality of life of people with mental health problems in San Sebastián.
Cultural activities
Culture and heritage
To ensure that your stay with FeelFree STAYS is an authentic immersion experience, we offer personalized experiences that highlight the culture and heritage of the Basque Country. Through the agency Ikusnahi – in Basque, the desire to know -, we organize excursions to the Zumaia Flysch, where you can observe the evolution of the Earth over 50 million years; an outing to a gastronomic society aboard the Pogo 36 sailboat – the only one in the Cantabrian Sea – amidst stories of Basque pirates and whalers; or a visit to Getaria, to learn about traditional tuna canning techniques.
Discover these experiences and many more with our guide Ernes and his team.
